There is a depth of verisimilitude in the background stories and actions revolving around the assassination of JFK that demonstrate extensive research and a finely tuned sense of artistic license that is absolutely admirable. And I absolutely loved the short snippets of Carter, the man of few words. This book along with Vol 1 is a good start. Hughes has put John Allen's life into words does justice to such a man.
